Apply to win free hotel/registration for the Outdoor Retailer show!

The Outdoor Retailer (OR) show happens twice a year in Salt Lake City and is the largest domestic trade show for the outdoor industry. Brands big and small gather to make business connections, show off upcoming product lines, and learn about important issues facing the industry. The show is a great opportunity for those just starting out in the Athletic and Outdoor industry to network and learn about industry trends and what it takes to gain a competitive edge.

PDC is seeking startups or young companies that are led by teams or founders who are diverse in terms of gender, race and other demographics typically underrepresented in the athletic and outdoor community to apply for a chance to have housing and registration (for 1 team member) covered at the upcoming summer Outdoor Retailer show (Aug. 5-8). Two companies or winners will be selected. Preference will be given to applicants that have never attended an OR show and are not working at a company that currently exhibits at the show.

• Winner will be announced on July 1st
• Expenses covered will include show registration and four hotel room nights (August 4-7) up to a $1000 value
• Maximum of two winners
• Winners must agree to write one blog post for AOPortland.com describing their experiences and outcomes from the show (minimum 400 words posted either during the show or by Aug. 12)
