Wild Outdoor Apparel wins Polartec APEX Award

PORTLAND, OR- July 21, 2014–

Wild Outdoor Apparel has been chosen as a recipient of the 2014 Polartec APEX Awards for the company’s Burnside Alpha jacket.

The Polertec APEX Awards are awarded each year to a handful of designers for “their supernatural ability to turn Polartec fabric technologies into inspiring products. Every winner is honored and presented with the coveted Malden statue, an industry award unlike any on this world. Malden recipients will forever be the embodiment of Polartec fabric innovation and design inspiration.”, according to Polartec’s website.

Wild Outdoor Apparel joins the ranks of industry giants such as Arc’teryx, lululemon athletica, and Patagonia, in receiving this recognition.

Dan Tiegs, founder and president of Wild, will be receiving the Malden award on August 6, 2014 at an event at the Polartec booth during the upcoming Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake City.
