Purpose: To lead and manage a team of Road Warriors (RW) spread across North America. Road Warriors are responsible for managing grassroots and event efforts driving brand advocacy and affinity for adidas Five Ten and TERREX.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage RW personnel and event calendar to ensure coverage of all key activations across North America
• Manage and review all RW budgets on a monthly basis to ensure on-target tracking
• Manage samples and demo product needs for entire RW team directly with internal client team
• Work closely with Brand Activation Manager to develop, align and execute grassroots, events and brand activation strategy for full calendar year
• Responsible for monthly client-facing reports and presentations including tour insights, marketing data, sales, and all event recaps delivered in a timely manner of entire North American RW program
• Manage on-site brand executions and activations at key events as defined by internal adidas outdoor team
• Support other Road Warriors and the internal adidas Five Ten and TERREX team with event activation as needed
• Identify new and creative opportunities to create brand awareness and advocacy
• Work with RW teams to determine and define always-on partnership strategy in key regions as defined by adidas internal team.
• Own relationship with key specialty accounts and brand partners as the on-the-ground expert and brand representative across Five Ten and TERREX
• Become a brand expert in all things Five Ten and adidas Terrex as well as maintaining knowledge of competitor brands and products within the outdoor space
• Heavy travel required (60%-70%)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Exceptional leadership and management skills
• Passion for the outdoor industry, especially within Bike, Climb, Ski, Hike and Trail Running categories.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to adapt and problem-solve in real time
• Proven experience carrying out marketing and event efforts, including planning, prioritizing and implementing strategy
• Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at a time
• Existing knowledge of outdoor sport and the culture surrounding it
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)

• Minimum of 2 years managing a field marketing program and team
• Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training in marketing and/or event activations
• Outdoor Industry experience required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive long distances
• Ablility to lift heavy objects
• Located in Portland, Oregon or surrounding area
