Cycle Dog Expands, Opens New Showroom

PORTLAND, OR (January 13, 2014)–

Cycle Dog -Earth Friendly Pet Company, manufacturers of earth friendly dog collars, leads, toys, bowls and accessories is proud to announce its new Portland, Oregon factory showroom. Hand sewn products will be produced in the new facility using post-consumer recycled materials, many sourced locally in Portland, Oregon.

Launching at Portland’s Saturday Market in 2009, Cycle Dog has grown to more than 1500 retailers in the USA, Canada and Europe. With this continued growth and success, Cycle Dog has outgrown the two smaller premises it had been operating from and has moved into a larger building in the NW 23rd shopping district, which will house both its showroom and factory. The company’s new home at 2215 NW Quimby Street was formerly the home of Lotus Antiques.

Besides the added factory space, the showroom will allow Cycle Dog to showcase its full line of post-consumer recycled products. Lanette Fidrych, president of Cycle Dog said, “We want to create a unique environment where people can see what Cycle Dog is about. This will be more of an experience than a pet store.” Plans include a 450-square foot field turf area where dogs and their owners can actively play with Cycle Dog’s newest toys. At the Custom Bar, customers will have the unique opportunity to create custom fitted, one of a kind collars, leashes and harnesses for their dogs tailored by fit, pattern and stitching details.

Cycle Dog is currently producing its products in the new space, with the Factory Showroom slated to open in late January.
