Oregon Trade Summit Webinar
Given this month’s dramatic and fast-moving tariff developments, OBI has decided to present the April 28 Oregon Trade Summit as a webinar rather than as an in-person event. Though making the summit an online event will preclude the originally scheduled networking reception, it will allow access regardless of location. There is no charge to attend.
Oregon Trade Summit presentations will include:
Oregon: A State of Trade. An overview of Oregon’s import and export activity, presented by Dr. Mike Wilkerson of ECOnorthwest.
Federal Landscape Update and Q&A: with Isabelle Icso, senior director of international policy with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Panel: Challenges and Opportunities for Oregon Business and Industries, moderated by Tim DuRoche, director of programs, WorldOregon. Panelists include: Sean Daoud, vice president, PNW Metal Recycling, Amanda Hoey, CEO, Oregon Wheat Commission and Oregon Wheat Growers League, Subramania Krishnakumar, president, Siltronic Corporation Portland, Kari Mahe, CEO, Wine by Joe/Dobbes Family Winery, Curtis Robinhold, executive director, Port of Portland
Closing Remarks and Next Steps: Angela Wilhelms, president and CEO, OBI
The webinar will run from 2-4:30 p.m. and include time for questions.
