Prosper Portland/Portland A&O is seeking to sponsor 5 Portland-based consumer goods companies to be part of a “Portland Supply” booth at Shoppe Object, August 13-15, 2023 at Pier 26 in New York City.
Shoppe Object is New York’s semiannual independent home and gift show. With a curated roster of visionary brands and makers presented in an elevated boutique setting, this event is known as the premier resource for merchants and influential editors. Created to serve a progressive retail and design community, Shoppe Object is dedicated to “the good, the beautiful, the inspired, the innovative, the well made.”
Prosper Portland is providing a shared booth space at this trade show to provide local, emerging apparel, accessories, and consumer goods brands an affordable opportunity to gain brand exposure and build new wholesale opportunities. In addition to booth space, Prosper Portland will provide marketing and logistics support. Participants benefit from the community, collaboration and peer support provided by the curated booth.

Please note: Applicants should have some trade show experience and the ability to support wholesale clients. Participants need to commit to being in attendance on August 13-15, 2023, cover their costs of travel, room and board, shipping and any booth costs that are incurred as part of the group’s design choices. Priority will be given to Women-Owned and BIPOC-Owned businesses. Final selection will be made by Shoppe Object organizers, as this is a curated trade show.
Prosper Portland/Portland A&O has previously supported emerging A&O/Consumer Products brands to attend similar trade shows such as, NY NOW, Outdoor Retailer, ISPO, and Shoppe Object. Brands selected to attend secure wholesale orders, build new retailer relationships, observe trends in the industry, and attend related educational or networking events.
