Portland A&O is seeking new members for the Athletic & Outdoor Professionals committee to provide strategic leadership, vision, and support to deliver on its mission to connect, highlight and support professionals in Portland’s Athletic and Outdoor industry through informative, inspirational, and inclusive events.

As a working and leadership-based role, committee members are required to meet regularly to support the development, planning and coordination of AOP and partnership events. As influencers, ambassadors, liaisons and connectors between their company and the wider A&O community, ideal committee candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Currently employed by a Portland-based A&O brand
• Able to commit to one monthly committee meeting
• Able to commit to at least  3 events a year
• Able to commit to be on the committee for a minimum of 1 year
• Committed to creating inclusive and diverse programming
• Passionate about creating community and resources for talent in the A&O industry
• Passionate about being a connector within your current company and the broader industry
